Mechanic For Older Mercedes I Was Quoted 4 1/2 Hrs Labor To Replace A Cheap Part. How Do I Replace An Old Mercedes Wiper Motor Myself?

I was quoted 4 1/2 hrs labor to replace a cheap part. How do I replace an old mercedes wiper motor myself? - mechanic for older mercedes

It will take time for the mechanics to disassemble the dashboard (and re-assembly) for OT wiper motor on board.

How difficult is it for me, and where and how do I start?

I have the basic maintenance and simple repairs such as replacement of bearings and packing a trunk to CV, but I've never played a hyphen in my life. I've never cabling (for one car '87 Mercedes 300).

It's easy, otherwise I would be on my head ... and advice?

  1. I respect its experience, but retired as a mechanic, not the face. It consists of a sequence to follow in order to stop harming. There are even special tools for the month of May to decompose.
I worked for Ford for many years, car manufacturers deliberately make things difficult for beginners. There is another factor, it is easy to violate the plaque on the dashboard.
If they try to do this, remove the battery from the first car.
I think the best is a dealer ..............
